Warm Homes Net Zero Ltd, known as WHNZ, is a managed retrofit, renewable energy and home energy delivery business. We coordinate the survey, delivery, evidence and handover of energy measures. Solar PV, battery storage and heat pump installations are carried out by MCS certified installer partners who contract with the customer directly.
WHNZ delivers insulation, ventilation, heating and renewable measures, including solar panel installation and home battery storage. Our role covers assessment and design coordination, allocation of the work to a suitable specialist, delivery oversight, evidence capture and structured handover.
We are not a marketplace and we are not a lead generation business. Each project sits with WHNZ from enquiry through to completion, with one point of accountability for the customer or the client organisation.
Private homeowners come to us directly for measures such as solar PV, battery storage, insulation and heating improvements. For these customers we handle the technical assessment and the written proposal, and for solar, battery storage and heat pumps the installation is carried out by an MCS certified installer partner who contracts with you directly.
Alongside that we operate a business to business proposition through managed retrofit and renewable delivery, designed for organisations that need coordinated delivery, documented evidence and programme visibility across multiple properties.
WHNZ operates through a managed network of onboarded delivery specialists. Nobody is assumed to be competent in every measure, so allocation is a decision rather than a default.
Work is matched to specialists who deliver that specific measure, not to whoever is next in a list.
Allocation considers where the property sits and which onboarded specialists genuinely cover that area.
Recorded competency for the measure in question is checked before work is offered.
Where a measure or programme requires specific certification, only specialists holding it are considered.
Property type, occupancy, access, programme rules and evidence requirements all shape who is suitable.
Confirmed availability is checked so dates given to customers are dates that can be met.
Retrofit and renewable work is judged after the installers have left. What remains is the record of what was assessed, what was fitted, how it was commissioned and what the customer was told. WHNZ is built around that record.
Applications to join the network are reviewed against our onboarding requirements, work is allocated deliberately, progress is tracked, and completion is evidenced. Our internal systems hold the audit trail so a project can be reconstructed later without relying on memory or loose email threads.
Our delivery approach is built around recognised retrofit standards. Where a measure or a funded programme requires a specific certification, we confirm the certification held by the specialist allocated to that work.
Homeowners can request a quote for a specific measure. Organisations with a programme or portfolio requirement can speak to us about managed delivery. Installers can apply to join the network.
